“coastal beauties”

Purple was her favorite color…

My Mother loved all flowers, but especially purple ones. I painted this one for her in 2002 as a Christmas gift…it was her favorite. I painted for weeks making sure that every detail was captured in my brush strokes. This painting hung in my parents’ home until May 2018, when my Mom passed away.

It is not for sale, because it is priceless to me and it now hangs in my Redondo Beach, CA home…in honor and celebration of my Mother. She was my biggest supporter, my rock…a joyful loving friend, a rare beauty…the best mom anyone could hope for.

It’s the first painting visitors see when they walk into my gallery and a constant reminder to myself that I am blessed with this creative talent. Thank you Mom.
